Project Statement
Divar (Wall) reconsiders the presence of sculpture in public space. Rather than existing solely as an object to be viewed, the structure invites play, pause, and interaction. Its openings shape pathways and lines of sight, creating an experience that extends beyond the static object through encounters with the body, wind, and sound.
The work raises questions about the boundary between public and private space, the possibility of remaining unseen, and what it means to inhabit a space that is continually exposed to the gaze of others.
